Players have become used to theme updates releasing two grenades together, such as Cosmom and Worldshaker or Skycore and Jadelight.
This time, however, only one grenade has arrived—and its power exceeds every grenade released before it.
Introducing Earthen Elements, a powerful utility grenade combining damage amplification, vulnerability, healing, immobilization, survival protection, and unlimited grenades.
Earthen Elements provides approximately 200% damage amplification and up to 40% Vulnerability for 18 seconds, making it the strongest grenade booster currently available.
1. How to Obtain Earthen Elements
Earthen Elements is available through the Smoothing Weather theme event.
Grenades are generally cheaper to develop than primary weapons, pistols, and melee weapons.
Earthen Elements Version 2 is estimated to require approximately 15,000 Duanwu Blessing Cards.
Compared with its damage-boosting potential, Earthen Elements is one of the strongest value purchases among recent event weapons.
2. Weapon Appearance Review
Earthen Elements has an eye-catching design with strong visual effects and a distinct elemental identity.
The combination of bright elemental energy, contrasting Sun and Dark effects, and its distinctive shape makes Earthen Elements immediately recognizable.
Earthen Skin
The Earthen skin is one of the most attractive cosmetic designs in this version and is strongly recommended for collectors.
3. Weapon Characteristics
Sun & Dark
Base Effect, Phase 1, and Phase 2
Earthen Elements is thrown in a straight direction.
When it lands, it creates a Dark Polar area that remains active temporarily and continuously deals area damage.
Phase 1 — Sun Polar
When an enemy dies inside Dark Polar, a Sun Polar area appears at the player's location.
Sun Polar immobilizes enemies and continuously restores health to allied units inside the area.
If Sun Polar exists on the battlefield and the player receives lethal damage or infection, the effect is blocked and the player is teleported to Sun Polar.
This survival effect has a trigger interval.
Phase 2:
Triggering Quickstep restores one grenade. This effect can activate once per round.
Illusionary Plain
Phase 1 Unlock
In Mutation, Challenge, and Adventure modes, press E to create an Illusionary Plain.
When the player equips a non-throwing weapon and touches the field, the field breaks and creates up to three fragments.
| Fragment |
Weapon Type |
Function |
| Fragment I |
Primary Weapon |
Enhances the primary weapon. |
| Fragment II |
Secondary Weapon |
Occupies the center position and mainly enhances the weapon held when the field breaks. |
| Fragment III |
Melee Weapon |
Enhances the melee weapon. |
The weapon linked to the center fragment receives increased damage.
Attacks from the enhanced weapon have a chance to create Dark Polar at the impact location.
Taking damage also has a chance to create Sun Polar at the player's location.
Dealing damage extends the duration of the center fragment.
When the center fragment expires, the remaining fragments move toward the center.
Secondary- and melee-linked fragments have shorter durations than primary-weapon fragments.
Chaos
Phase 1 Unlock
In Mutation, Challenge, and Adventure modes, attacking an enemy inside Dark Polar while standing inside Sun Polar applies a stackable Vulnerability effect.
While this condition is active, the player also receives unlimited grenades.
4. Adventure Development and Performance
Reconstruction provides 2% Critical Rate and 350 Energy Strength.
Even when Earthen Elements is not actively used, owning it provides valuable inventory attributes.
Maximum Synchronization
Earthen Elements reaches extremely high Combat Power when fully synchronized.
Starting with Earthen Elements and later weapons, synchronization requires Level 5 gems.
Players should obtain these gems from the Lord Shop before beginning full synchronization.

Direct Grenade Damage
Similar to Cosmom and Worldshaker, Earthen Elements can provide unlimited grenades.
Its direct grenade damage, however, is only average. Its real strength comes from damage amplification, Vulnerability, support, and survival mechanics.

Oracle Linkage
Earthen Elements normally enters cooldown only after all three Illusionary Plain fragments have expired.
This is inconvenient for players who depend heavily on their primary weapon because they may need to wait for every fragment to finish.
Oracle Finale solves this issue by allowing the player to end the active enhancement early.
After the primary-weapon buff ends, switch back to Earthen Elements and hold E.
With Oracle Finale, the active effect can end in approximately three seconds. The following cooldown is approximately four seconds, greatly reducing wasted time.
5. Weapon Summary and Acquisition Recommendation
